The rapper Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly has been released way before its expected time. It is a classic alright in the same manner as The Blacker the Berry.

Nowadays a trend has started and it all began with Beyonce. This has to do with surprise dropping your latest album or musical number without the audience and fans being cognizant of it. This of course leads to a whole-scale mad rush to listen to the music.

In case of Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, it is more than a week earlier than usual that the album has arrived on the stage. The strange thing is that the iTunes Store has issued forth the clean version.

That means that the expectations for the dirty version to come out will be even more piqued and frenzied among the die-hard aficionados. The album’s cover graphics are very interesting and lovely to look at.

Lamar posted a series of teaser tweets last Sunday night before tweeting the link to download To Pimp a Butterfly. See his tweets below.

Kendrick Lamar is renowned for his racism-hating song, The Blacker the Berry, which has already won over millions of hearts and minds. That too was a very highly charged series of staccato lyrics and tunes that made many a Black American proud of his or her roots.

It truly espoused the saying that Black is Beautiful. And with this album, Kendrick will enter the Black Hall of Fame. He has done it once again.
