Vin Diesel revealed today that his new born daughter will be named Pauline in honor of Paul Walker who died in 2013.

Vin Diesel and his wife Paloma Jiménez welcomed a baby girl earlier this month. Today Vin Diesel revealed on Today that they named her after Paul Walker. Paul Walker died while shooting Furious 7 back in 2013 in a car crash. The gesture of naming his daughter Pauline once again shows how close Vin Diesel and Paul Walker have been.

Vin Diesel said that there was no other person he was thinking of when he was cutting cutting the umbilical cord. He did it to keep his memory a part of his family. He revealed the name in an emotional interview while riding a helicopter to Today's Natalie Morales. I assume he chose the helicopter as interview location to dampen the already high emotions he is feeling talking about this. Watch below.

Paloma Jiménez and Vin Diesel have now three kids together. The first two are named Hania Riley and Vincent. 47-year-old Vin Diesel broke down last week when he made a surprise appearance at a public screening of Furious 7 in California.

Furious 7 opens nationwide on on April 3.

In Furious 7, which got help from Paul Walker's brothers to get finished, Owen Shaw and his crew, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and the rest of the crew are able to return to the United States and live normal lives again as they had wanted.

But then Owen's older brother, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), is after Dom and his "family", seeking revenge for his brother's death and putting the entire crew in danger once more. After learning of Han's death, the crew sets out to find the man who killed one of their own, before he finds them first.
