OnePlus has two smartphones planned for this year

The company is probably going to reveal the OnePlus 2 at the April event

One thing is pretty much confirmed that the OnePlus is going to launch two smartphones this year and one of them is definitely the OnePlus 2. The two smartphones are expected to make their way to the markets somewhere in the second half of the year but this means that the company should already be geared up for major announcements.

Virtual invitations have already been sent out to special guests who are invited to join the company’s mysterious event which is scheduled for Monday, April 20. It is pretty hard to determine something rock solid from the OnePlus statement saying "From here on out, anything could happen. #‎NeverSettle‬". Apart from this, there is nothing that the company has revealed about the event.

The OnePlus One has been around since over a year now and this year seems to be the perfect time to talk about the OnePlus 2 and we think that those behind the OnePlus are already on it. The successor, for obvious reasons, is going to be even more expensive than the OnePlus One which costs $299 unlocked.

Though we don’t have any definite details on the phone but it is highly expected that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 810 processor and an expandable memory along with a fingerprint scanner, and a 5.5-inch display. The other phone should be a mid ranger but we have no clue about the specs and we will only have to wait and see what’s in store.
