Rapper Lil Wayne and his crew must have been terrified when gunshots were fired at their tour bus early Sunday in Atlanta.

According to TMZ, at least one of the two tour buses of Lil Wayne was targeted by an undefined gunman and shot multiple times while they were leaving a nightclub after the performance. Lil Wayne and his crew members including Lil Twist, Hood and other Young Money associates were on the board at the time of the shooting.

The bus driver told that incident took place near the 285 Interstate, after Lil Wayne and his crew ended their performance at Compound nightclub. The bus was driven to a nearby hotel as soon as gunshots were fired at the bus and one of the entourage called to the police, according to TMZ report.

Atlanta Police spokesperson Elizabeth Espy said in a statement that police received a call from Buckhead, a neighborhood in Atlanta. The police officers reached the place at 3.25 and found tour bus being shot multiple times. The spokesperson added no person has been identified as injured in the shooting and no arrests have been made yet. However, police are searching for the suspect involved in the incident.

Police are conducting investigation and they have gathered information but witnesses are unable to provide a thorough description of the suspect vehicles, only confirming there were two vehicles, one possibly a “Corvette style vehicle and an SUV.”

A few questions are still unclear whether both of the buses were under fire if not, was Lil Wayne on the bus that was hit. No comment has been made by Lil Wayne himself but according to Young Money they will continue their tour and will perform on Sunday night as scheduled in Louisville, Kentucky.

The bus shooting incident took place just few days after Lil Wayne was sued by a former bus driver, accusing rapper to threaten him with the gun during 2014 summer tour.
