Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition Teased

Samsung confirms the Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Limited Edition.

Apparently, Samsung is serious about releasing an Iron Man-themed Galaxy smartphone. The South Korean technology giant has teased what appears to be a Galaxy S6 Edge donning an Iron Man design, although the actual device isn't revealed.

Samsung only teased the packaging of the device on Twitter, and Iron Man's helmet, colored in red and gold, is neatly on the front. Below the image are the words: "Coming soon (*Detailed availability in the markets may differ by region)."

Samsung confirmed the existence of the phone. In a statement to Mashable, a representative said that the Galaxy S 6 edge Iron Man Limited Edition is coming to select markets and that more details will be disclosed in the coming weeks.

Word about Samsung's strategic partnership with Marvel was reported by The Korea Times last week. According to the report, Samsung will launch an Iron Man version of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, featuring design aspects of the popular Avenge.

Lee Young-hee, head of marketing at Samsung's mobile division, told the newspaper that the phone will be released at the end of May or early June. Samsung and Marvel agreed to a global partnership in June this year.

Meanwhile, check out the cool design mockups of other Avengers-inspired Galaxy S6 devices in the gallery.
