The latest addition to the A-series family will be A8.

Samsung introduced the A Series with a metallic body and sleek style, earlier this year and is planning to add more devices in the A-series. Samsung is all set to announce the A8 in various markets of Asia and Europe. It has been speculated that this latest creation will come with a fingerprint sensor in the 5.9mm body making it the thinnest phone from Samsung. Fingerprint sensor is a norm these days and with its introduction in a mid-range device Samsung is surely starting a new war.

Samsung A8 is exquisite in many ways. The Korean giant has planned a 5.7” 1080p Super AMOLED display along with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset and 2GB RAM. According to SamMobile it will feature a 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with 16GB of internal storage and a rather impressive 3,050mAh battery.

SamMobile also reports that A8 will come with same theme support as of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. You will be getting Lollipop 5.0.1 with Samsung’s latest Touch Wiz which is much improved than the previous versions. People are highly anticipated about this new release and if Samsung uses the correct pricing strategy for this, it can give them a competitive edge in the market.
