Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, shattered the Twitter record by reaching 1 million followers in just four hours

Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, set a new Twitter record on Monday. She becomes the fastest to reach 1 million Twitter followers in four hours, breaking the previous record of 1 million followers in 5 hours set by Present Barack Obama two weeks ago.

Guinness World Record also confirms that Jenner is now the quickest to reach the 1 million followers on Twitter in preciously four hours and three minutes. President Obama, who joined Twitter on May 18 under the name of POTUS, took less than five hours to reach the mark.

Jenner opened a new Twitter account on Monday after her first cover as a female was revealed on Vanity Fair. She wrote while launching the Twitter account. “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.

After achieving the record, Jenner tweeted again and thanked all the honor and support of the people. Ever since the cover is revealed, more than 1.5 million tweets are sent about Jenner, mostly congratulating her successful transition and admiring her courageous move.

Jenner has given her first detailed interview after the complete gender transition to Vanity Fair. The issue which will come out on June 9, features stunning photographs of Caitlyn Jenner taken by Annie Leibovitz alongside 22-page article, revealing new details about her male to female transition. It took two days to complete the shoot.

“This shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It’s not about the fanfare, it’s not about people cheering in the stadium.” Jenner said in the interview.

Jenner also revealed that she underwent a facial feminization surgery in March but not but has not had sex reassignment surgery yet.

Former Olympian came out as a transgender during an interview with Diane Sawyer back in April and has been in limelight ever since.
