Lego the Danish toy company has finally released its own digital video game called Lego Worlds as a rival of famous video game Minecraft.

Lego Worlds has recently been released by the popular Danish toy company Lego to foray into the world of video gaming. The game Lego Worlds will be a major rival to the already present popular game Minecraft.

Lego had previously started selling play-sets of the digital video game Minecraft so anyone could build their own virtual design, however Lego Worlds will allows users to use the Lego play-set in virtual reality.

The game Lego Worlds has been launched with a price tag of £11.99 and can be bought from the Steam gaming platform. The final version of Lego Worlds will be released in 2016 and will feature both classic and modern figures. Additional features are expected to be added soon to gain feedback from users.

Lego Worlds has been formed in association with the TT Games and the managing director Tom Stone shared the online version of Lego ‘Embodies’ the play-set of Lego people have been using for decades on a virtual platform.

The video game of Lego will be delivering a novel experience to gamers keeping in touch with the beloved building bricks of Lego and the possibilities for creativity will be endless on the digital front.

Lego World has been launched on Monday but only the ‘Early Access’ mode id available meaning the game is still in its initial phases and a lot of features will be released later.

Lego Worlds will be a construction game with an open world approach where every possible thing including the landscape, characters, creatures etc. will be built with the bricks of Lego. Players will be able to build their own worlds or modify the existing ones based on the real life physical Lego sets.
