Switching from Android to iOS is one app away

Apple's 'Move to iOS' app helps android users switch to iOS with ease

The upcoming mobile platform from Apple will feature a new app dubbed ‘Move to iOS’. While not specifically mentioned at the WWDC, this new app ‘Move to iOS’ allows wireless transfer of data from Android devices to iPhones and iPads. As detailed in the Apple’s iOS 9 preview webpage, the ‘Move to iOS’ app will allow android users to seamlessly transfer contacts, message history, photos and videos, Web bookmarks, mail accounts, calendar and even wallpapers!

Furthermore, the ‘Move to iOS’ app allows to mark your free apps like Facebook etc. as suggested downloads in the App Store, whereas the paid ones are shifted to your iTunes Wishlist. All in all, this new app is definitely a bold move from Apple in its war against Google’s operating system, and one could even deem it a necessity considering the fact how saturated the smartphone market has become. This new app will surely persuade many Android users who had hoped to shift to iOS but were held back owing to the hassle involved in transferring of data or worse the risk of losing existing data.

This new app will provide the perfect platform for Apple to welcome Android users and allow them to experience the best that the world of iOS has to offer.
