  • George RR Martin tells fans to stop hogging his blog with Game of Thrones

George RR Martin is tired of fans posting continuously on his blog, Not so Blog with Game of Thrones posts and discussions and let him concentrate on his new book in the series.

Apparently, people think that George RR Martin has a huge say in how the TV show based on his book Game of Thrones is made. So they post comments and links and discussions on his blog titled Not A Blog hoping that they would catch his eye and he would tell the show makers to give a turn to the story about how it should go.

Or they tell Martin what has been happening in the show, the latest updates on Wage those battles on Westeros, or Tower of the Hand, or Boiled Leather, or Winter Is Coming, or Watchers on the Walls in hopes of getting his comments or coercing him to give up what might happen next.

Well he has had it! The 66 years old writer told all the fans and trivia to stop posting on his blog about Game of Thrones. He said that he was not interested in any place that wasn’t here. He told everyone to stop sending him email and posts. He only writes one episode per season and he is way ahead when it comes to books’ story. He is currently writing the sixth book Winds of Winters.

He said that being named “the third most influential writer in Hollywood” last year by The Hollywood Reporter actually means very little in terms of controlling what happens on the hit HBO show. It simply means that he gave them a content to make into a TV show that would have taken a lot of movies to make proper and he got himself rid of it.

It is a thing in his past. Something he had written and now he wants to concentrate on the book he is writing. He does not bear responsibility for all the twists and turns and anything that doesn’t curry favor with the audience.

That is for the creators and the directors of the shows to worry about so if anyone is interested in what is going to happen in Winds of Winter which anyone rarely would because not many have actually read the book, he has given everyone a warning to stop hogging his blog with Game of Thrones.
