David Grohl of the Foo Fighters took the "Fighter" literally last night in Sweden. During a concert in Gothenburg David Grohl stumbled and fell off the stage. The fall was pretty high. He was walking towards the edge of the stage with his guitar when his legs got caught on cables. A concert goer caught the incident on video.
He stumbled and took a gruesome plunge to the ground. Security raced to Grohl. His band mates still continued to play for a while before the realized that he got hurt. The accident happened at the beginning of the concert after just two songs. David Grohl got brought back stage. He said that "I think I just broke my leg." He told the crowd that he is going to a hospital now, but will come back to finish the show.
While Grohl was out getting a cask the band was playing cover versions. Grohl came back after a while wearing cask. He was sitting on a chair performing the final part of the show. David Grohl has not lost his humor despite the nasty accident. He shared on Twitter an X-Ray of his broken leg accompanied with "Thank you Gothenburg. That was amazing."

The X-Ray shows clearly that Grohl has broken bone in his leg. If this injury will affect the next Foo Fighter concerts is not known yet. Given Grohl's attitude fans can expect that there will be no change in plans. Grohl joins a growing list of stars that fell off stage this year already including Madonna and U2's The Edge.
