According to the latest reports, Samsung will reportedly ship 45 million S6/S6 Edge units in 2015

Last year HTC did well with its M8 and Samsung needed this time to do something really big with its new smart phone after the failure of Galaxy S5. Before the production of the latest flagship from Samsung began, the Korean giant took the task really seriously .They started from scratch to build this mesmerizing S6 and S6 Edge.

The unique look of S6 edge has attracted the market while Galaxy S6 managed to sell well too. The launch of Samsung S6 and S6 Edge had created frenzy in the market. The expectorations were so high that according to Deutsche Bank , Samsung will ship 45 million units of S6 and S6 edge this year in the high-end market.

Some analysts estimated that S6 edge and S6 will manage 70 million sales. However, some of the expectations still fall behind this expected numbers. The Industry tracker DRAMeXchange estimated combined sales of 55 million units, whereas Hong Kong-based researchers estimated that it will make only 50-million sales figure for the current year.

Well that’s a huge figure for Samsung, especially when it comes to S6 and S6 edge which is clearly not the cheapest flagship currently in the market.
