YouTube Now Supports 60fps Video Streams on Android and iOS

  • YouTube launches 10 new features for its users through the Creator Preview videos!

After launching 60fps videos on desktop and live streams, Google’s YouTube launches it on Android and iOS apps.

After 10 long years since its creation YouTube is honoring its users with 10 new features. YouTube has been trying to make the experience for its community relatively easy for the past few months.

The Google owned video streaming service has revealed a list of new features which will soon be released on YouTube and are currently being worked on in the YouTube Creator Preview video today. The creator are those people who try to make a living through YouTube by posting videos, although some information is interesting for average mobile users.

One of the new features yet to be released includes a new ranking for comments, improved notifications for subscribers and features to manage video settings.

As part of the new features YouTube recently launched the 60pfs videos first on the desktop version and then on the live versions. Therefore it was only a matter of time before the feature was made available on the Android and iOS systems such as on smartphones and tablets. Additionally the 60fps version is also stream able on the Apple TV and the PlayStation 3& 4 consoles.

The 60fps videos are not usually the choice for people looking to watch movies however the gamers especially consider the 60fps quality a boon. Today plenty of video games meant to be played on a high frame are available. The 30 degree videos announced by YouTube is soon going to get a 3D upgrade in the coming month.

Although not all of the features are ready yet and YouTube has not released them yet, the features have been promised to be available soon in the coming months.
