Windows 10 is Close to be Finished

A Windows 10 RTM candidate build has been spotted, which is a big sign that Microsoft is soon finished with the final Windows 10 release.

Microsoft will launch Windows 10 on July 29. The release will be in waves starting with Windows 10 Insiders. Microsoft is continuously improving the roll-out and will deploy Windows 10 to users once the compatibility work confirms that the user will have a great upgrade experience.

Today the first Windows 10 RTM build has been spotted. RTM stands for release to manufacturing. In a time of digital distribution RTM is less dramatic. Back in the days when software was only distributed in boxes on CDs, RTM was a very crucial moment. Millions of CDs could be worthless if a major bug was not caught during testing.

Microsoft is also highlighting with Windows 10 to completely move to a Windows as a service (WaaS) release. Windows 10 will be a constantly evolving operating system.

WinBeta reports that Windows 10 build 10.0.10176.16384.th1.150705-0552 is an RTM candidate Microsoft employees will vote on for RTM.

Windows 10 is possibly the best Windows yet. Highlights include faster performance on lower end hardware, Cortana, Microsoft Edge browser, Office on Windows, Xbox Live integration, Windows Continuum, Windows Hello and Windows Store.

The release of Windows 10 is expected to give hardware makers a big push in H2 of 2015. Windows 10 promises a seamless experience across all devices, which could finally ignite the Microsoft smartphone sales.
