Audi R8 and R8 Plus to Come With A Turbocharged Engine

Audi is one of the most prominent automobile manufacturers in the World. When it comes to sport and luxury cars, the German automobile manufacturer is unknown to none. The Audi R8 is very beautifully crafted, and is one the legendary supercars in the Sports car sector.

Recently, Audi has plans for the R8 V10 Plus according to Motoring, which features forced induction and the capabilities of any entry-level supercar. Yet, it packs sufficient power to outstep any supercar in a competition.

Although many automobile manufacturers also offer turbocharged versions of their cars, which pack enough horsepower to outclass the 413 pound-feet horsepower, which is offered by Audi R8 V10.

However, it has ability to produce enormous torque due to the Turbo engine packed in it. The R8 V10 Plus produces almost 610 pound-feet of horsepower. Additionally, it has the ability to go from rest to 60mph in just about 3.2 seconds.

In this regard, one of the representatives of the Audi Automobile Corporation announced that it is imminent that Audi would have to manufacture a version of the Audi R8 with a turbocharged engine at some point to fray the competition. However, they also said that the naturally aspirated version will also be imperforated.

Both models of the Audi R8 have the ability to touch a max speed of 200mph. Although, some people are stating that the Plus version can even touch a max speed of over 205mph.

The basic version of the Audi R8 is to be priced at $180,000, while the Plus variant will be priced at $205,000.
