Another iPhone 6S component has leaked confirming that the design will not change, but the materials will.

An iPhone 6S Plus rear shell leaked. The leak confirms again that Apple will not change the design of the iPhone 6S and stay with the iPhone 6 look in every detail. Early July the first iPhone 6S rear shell leaked.

Now a gold iPhone 6S Plus rear shell surfaced. The part was leaked by Future Supplier according to Apple Insider. The site of Future Supplier is now down and under construction. It is not clear if Apple went after them or if they just work on a site update.

The leaker confirms that the material of the iPhone 6S rear shell feels stronger. This confirms reports that Apple is using 7000 Series aluminum used in the Apple Watch casing. The alloy is supposed to be 60% stronger than other aluminum.

Apple certainly wants to take steps avoiding an iPhone 6S bendgate.

If the leaked iPhone 6S cases are legit, and there is no reason to believe otherwise, than Apple is not fixing my major issues with the iPhone 6. The ugly antenna lines and the protruding camera lens will stay.

Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 6S in September. The iPhone 6 is according to a recent analyst report not losing momentum. This likely means that the iPhone 6S will break the iPhone sales record. Apple is reportedly preparing for this and has ordered a record number of units.

The new features expected in the iPhone 6S include a touch force screen, double LTE Download speeds and better CPU.
