At 10am ET the 2015 MTV VMAs nominations will be announced exclusively on Apple Music Radio Station Beats 1.

MTV chose Apple's new internet radio station Beats 1 to announce the 2015 MTV Music Video Awards nominations. The VMAs nominations are revealed at 10am ET on Beats 1. In the hour before the announcement Elton John is playing his favorite songs.

Brooke Reece and Travis Mills will host the Beats 1 Chart show announcing the nominations.

Update:

The 2015 VMA nominations are coming in. Beats 1 is not working for me anymore. No connection. It looks like Apple has serious scalability issues with Apple Music Radio. The issue seems to be not that wide spread.
