New Converse Chuck II Sneaker Sold Out

The limited edition Chuck II pre-sale has sold out within hours. The new Chuck II will go on sale on July 28.

Yesterday Converse unveiled the new Chuck Taylor II sneaker. After almost a 100 years the company updated the classic sneaker. As part of the launch Nike owned Converse offered a limited edition of the Chuck II for $75.

Each pair of the limited edition is individually numbered and delivered in a special packaging.

The Pre-sale has sold out rather quickly. This is not surprising as the Chuck Taylor sneakers are wildly popular. The pre-sale editions will likely become valuable collectibles.

Converse is launching the Chuck Taylor II in retail stores on July 28. Like the previous model the Chuck II comes as HiTop and LowTop version. The new Chuck II will be offered initially in four colors: black, Salsa red, Sodalite blue and white.

The improvements in the Chuck 2 include a Lunarlon Sockliner for more cushioning and arch support.

The Chuck II has a padded non-slip tongue for 360 degree comfort around the ankle and instep.

Converse also added super soft micro-suede lining perforated for maximized comfort.

The improvements sound great and will make the Chuck Taylor All Star II a new classic sneaker for the next 100 years.
