Microsoft launches Surface 3 4G LTE Tablet in US Today

The new 4G LTE Surface 3 tablet is on sale in the United States today. It was already available in select European countries.

Microsoft has good success with the Surface tablet product line. The revenue from Surface tablets grew 117% last quarter. Today the Microsoft Corporation announced that the new Surface 3 4G LTE tablet is on sale in the United States.

The Surface 3 4G LTE was already available in Japan, France, Germany, Spain, and the UK.

Microsoft offers two unlocked versions of 64GB and 128GB versions through Microsoft stores, authorized resellers and partner retailers. U.S.

Beginning today, AT&T is the first U.S. operator to offer Surface 3 (4G LTE) to consumers through AT&T stores. Additionally, beginning July 31, T-Mobile will sell to business customers through their @Work channel.

The Surface 3 tablet runs on Windows 8.1 Professional and can be upgraded for free to Windows 10 when available.

Other specifications of the thinnest Surface to date include 4GB RAM, 10.8-inch screen with full HD resolution and Intel Atom x7 CPU.
