Technology Event Calendar for 2nd Half of 2015

There are several important events in technology this week kicking off the new product announcements for the 2nd half of 2015.

Consumer electronics and software companies are getting ready for major announcements and releases as the crucial Holidays shopping season draws closer. This week is already packed with several events.

Tech companies are making their announcements of flagship products events that are not just for journalists but are also grabbing the attention of consumers.

It becomes almost standard that media events are streamed online for everyone to attend. Today Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is taking things a step further hosting a virtual reality media event for the unveil of the new OnePlus 2 smartphone.

Besides special media event launching new products there are also large trade shows scheduled in the second half of 2015.

Important Events in Technology H2 2015

Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile Event, September. Microsoft is rumored to launch Windows 10 Mobile in September.

IFA 2015, September 4-9. The IFA Consumer electronics show in Berlin, Germany grows in importance for new product announcements. Event site.

Apple iPhone 6S Event, September 8. Apple is predicted to announce the iPhone 6S on Tuesday, September 8. Last year the iPhone event was on September 9.

CTIA Super Mobility 2015. September 9-11. The CTIA show will bring new mobile device announcements. Samsung is rumored for instance to reveal the Orbis Tizen smartwatch. Event site.

Google Android Nexus Event, September 29. Google will unveil the new Nexus line-up.

Microsoft Hardware Event, October 6. Microsoft is rumored to unveil Surface Pro 4, New Lumia Phones and Band 2 at this hardware event.
