Verizon Broadband and Go90 Users Can Now Sign Up for HBO Now

Go90 will come this summer and promises complete TV episodes from selected networks.

Verizon mobile service is about to launch a video streaming service called Go90. The service Go90 will be launched this summer according to Variety. Go90 will stream full episodes from TV show along with music videos.

Initially the Go90 service will be offered completely free of charge. The TV shows will be featured from different and selected TV networks. Other short video content will also be offered by Go90.

According to the site they will not just create a new TV service, but they are going to combine the best of both TV and internet. Other video material such as short clips, viral videos, music concerts and videos will also be broadcasted on the service.

The pre-launch staging website of G90 was accidentally released online this week. Before that Verizon had kept the details of the video streaming service under-wraps. Key details about the video service Go90 were revealed on the website. The Go90 site was removed from the web after a while.

On the other hand it has been confirmed Verizon and HBO have formed an alliance. The internet service by the TV network called HBO Now will be available to Verizon’s broadband subscribers.

HBO Now was initially launched in April 2015 and was available on Apple TV and Optimum. Similarly the service will now be extended to Verizon customers.

According to some TC sources, Verizon is going to incorporate HBO Now in its upcoming video service Go90. Otherwise normally subscribers have to sign up for the HBO Now service.

A 30 day trial is available after which the service charges $14.99 per month. Currently there are no reports on how HBO Now will be available on Verizon especially to the wireless customers.
