The James Bond actor was caught trying to board with a knife in his hand luggage at Vermont airport.

Pierce Brosnan the former James Bond actor was recently caught trying to board a plane with a knife. The actor was caught by airport security at the Vermont airport in America.

The knife was found in his on hand luggage. The knife consisting of a hunting blade was 10 inches long. The knife was confiscated by the airport security.

The knife was confiscated after it showed up during the screening. The incident occurred at the Burlington International Airport, in Vermont.

The 62 years old veteran actor was apparently embarrassed and angry by the incident. The knife was taken away by the US Transportation Security Administration agents. The confiscation apparently miffed the actor who appeared angry, according to Telegraph.

According to airport regulations the presence of knives in airplane cabins is banned. The regulations were set in after the 9/11 attack. If a knife is to be taken abroad it has to be checked luggage. All sharp objects are banned from plane cabins.

The incident occurred on Sunday. The news was released by Lieutenant Shawn Burke from the Burlington Police Department. According to Burke, the Transportation Security Administration officials formed him of the incident.

Brosnan is a veteran Bond actor who starred in hits such as GoldenEye and Die Another Day. After the issue was resolved the actor was allowed to continue on his journey. Images of the incident show the 0007 actor removing his belt at the TSA checkpoint. Other images show the actor displeased as he speaks to the airport staff.
