Moto App updated with cool location based features

Motorola has updated its Moto application in the Play Store to v3.0. The app includes new area based triggers for Moto Assist.

Motorola Assist is an automation engine that with practically no overhead makes your smartphone mindful of its surroundings and ready to flip settings as needs be.

Ordinarily you could set events to happen utilizing time, schedule occasions, and even your driving status.

But according to this new update; now occasions or triggers can go off taking into account your area.

For instance, you could make a trigger that will silence your Motorola phone when you arrive or leave work.

When you arrive home, you could have a trigger that sets the phone to interface with Wi-Fi, turn on don't interrupt, etc.

While it's a little redesign, it's a clever element to have, as it is expected that you can do some truly cool things with it.

It is shipping with the new Moto G, and will most likely come preinstalled on the Moto X Style and Moto X Play, as well.

However, it is also available on the Play Store and should work with any recent Motorola handset.
