Facebook Brings Auto-Play Video Ads to All Apps
  • Auto-playing video ads by Facebook are coming to more apps!

Facebook announced new formats for both its own social network and third party ad networks.

On Tuesday Facebook announced it will add more formats in its ad network. The new formats will be available for both third party ad networks and other apps. Facebook is trying to boost its advertising division.

Facebook will sell personalized ads through its ad formats on other apps. Facebook will also customize and cut the apps accordingly. In this way other app developers won’t have to hire an ad sales team.

Last year Facebook launched its Audience Network. The biggest newcomer of the network was the native video. The native videos are auto-playing video ads on Facebook. Now according to Facebook the same auto-paying videos will be available for third party networks or apps.

The auto-playing videos are a lucrative advertising format. Since the success of the native videos on Facebook. It has been trying to upscale its division. By bringing in other ad networks and parties Facebook will see a substantial rise in its revenue.

Other ad formats announced by Facebook include click-to-play formats. The carousel ads and Dynamic Product ads. Dynamic Product ads were introduced earlier in the year by Facebook.

The Dynamic product ads are based on the views and click of a Facebook user. According to Facebook the Dynamic product ad format has been very successful. Facebook is also updating its algorithm so the ads will be shown to people who are more prone to buy rather than just like or click on the ad.
