Mozilla Launches Firefox 40 with Windows 10 Support

Firefox 40 was just released containing new features and an all new look.

Mozilla Firefox just released the Firefox 40. The Firefox 40 has been officially built to help support the Windows 10. The Firefox 40 has a new look along with new features. The features in Firefox 40 are especially designed to take advantage of Windows 10. The Firefox 40 is also available for Android and Windows 10 phones.

One of the new features of Firefox 40 makes use of the search box in Windows 10. The search box in the taskbar can be used to search the web through Firefox. The new option certainly makes searching the web convenient. Furthermore Google can be utilized for the search instead of the default Bing.

Since Windows 10 is more compatible for touch devices Firefox 40 has made minor tweaks. For example the icons are slightly bigger and darker in Firefox. The different icons can help users when using the touch option capable devices of the Windows 10.

In Firefox 40 Mozilla has taken its safety measure one step further. Mozilla has started verifying each plug in making it safer to use Firefox. Mozilla is already a part of the Google's Safe Browsing, which blocks malicious sites. Firefox will now also include warnings for pages it believes contains deceptive software’s.

Firefox 40 is also compatible with Linux, OS X, and other Windows. Improvements in the Firefox 40 include tiles in the new tab page. The add-on manager also has a new style.

The graphic block-list mechanism of Firefox has also been updated. Similarly all the features are also available in the Firefox Android version. The Android version of Firefox 40 is called Firefox for Android v40.
