The US singer announced the cancellation on Tuesday via a post on Instagram.

Meghan Trainor will be cancelling the remainder of her MTrain Tour. The 21 year old singer announced the news via her official Instagram account on Tuesday the 11th of August. Trainor revealed she will be cancelling the tour after suffering from vocal cord haemorrhaging.

The ‘All About That Bass’ singer had previously damaged her vocal cords. The doctors put her on complete vocal rest last month. As a result Trainor had to cancel three of her concert this summer.

Trainor now needs surgery to remedy the problem once and for all. Even with all the precautions this is the second time Trainors vocal cords haemorrhaged.

The post by Trainor was directed to her fans. And revealed even though she had been careful her vocal cords have haemorrhaged. Trainor apparently contracted bronchitis and all the coughing damaged her vocal cords.

Meghan Trainor stated she is sadly announcing the cancellation of her tour. Trainor will receive surgery on her vocal cords. The surgery will fix her vocal cords problem once and for all.

But for the time being Trainor will have to discontinue singing. Trainor also wrote she is devastated and scared for herself. Trainor is also sorry to her fans.

She added she loves to tour and watching the faces of her fans. Trainor ended the post by thanking her fans for the love and support. Trainor also apologized to her concert openers Charlie Puth and Life of Dillon in another post.

Trainor stated even though the tour has been cut short they were a great team. Life od Dillon responded to Trainor by offering support and telling her she rocks.
