  • If Bill O’Brien becomes a NFL Coach of the Year contender it will be a huge surprise.

The current coach of the Texans has a long way to go to make sure his teams last the season.

It’s the second year for Bill O’Brien as the head coach of the Houston Texans. Although since his appointment Bill has improved the team considerably. A long road is ahead the team before they start giving note-worthy performances.

Even though Bill seems to be an excellent coach, no wonder since he improved the Texans team. Bill may not be nominated as the Coach of the Year in 2015, according to BleacherReport.

The reason is the absence of talent in the Texans team. If Bill is nominated for the NFL honou, it will be shock to everyone.

Even though the team may not accomplish much in the current season Bill will be remembered for his coaching. The people at BetOnline and 5Dimes both are already placing bets on the odds Bill will be named for Coach of the year.

Currently the odds stand at 25-1 odds. The best put Bill at the 118th number Coach list. In other words the leagues in Las Vegas believe Texans will not score a victory.

Even Bill himself stated on the Hard Knocks nobody talk about the Texans because they don’t have any faith in them. Bill is giving his team the mantra of they are up against the world.

If Bill is successful in his endeavour than he may have delivered a surprise. But it will be premature to neglect Bill’s ambition. Since the head coach has a record of working against low expectations.
