Gerard Pique has no love lost for Real Madrid.

Pique's FC Barcelona squad won the 2015 UEFA Super Cup on Aug. 12. It defeated Sevilla, 5-4, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Pique sent a clear message to rivals Real Madrid as he carried the trophy around the pitch.

"Let's go lads, let's celebrate it," Pique said. "F--k those from Madrid, let them see us celebrate."

After the game, the media focused on FC Barcelona forward Pedro. Speculation has it he will transfer to Manchester United, per ESPN FC.

This is not Pique's first bout with controversy.

Two months ago, Pique made another controverislal comment about Real Madrid.

FC Barcelona defeated Juventus FC in the UEFA Champions League Final in June. Pique referred to Cristiano Ronaldo's 30th birthday bash in January.

Fans criticized Real Madrid for celebrating despite a 4-0 loss to Atletico Madrid. ESPN FC reported on the development.

Colombian celebrity Kevin Roldan provided the entertainment during Ronaldo's party. Pique mentioned him after the win over Juventus FC in June, per ESPN FC:

"Thanks to the technical team, the physios, the club medical staff, the fans," Pique said. "And thanks to Kevin Roldan -- it all started with you!"

Fans jeered Pique during FC Barcelona's 2-1 win over Costa Rica in Leon on June 12, per ESPN FC.

Pique told ESPN FC the taunts didn't bother him:

"Everyone can express themselves freely. One day they whistle, one day they applaud.

"It has gone on for years, it doesn't bother me. This is my job. For me, coming to the national team is like coming home. I have a lot of caps and, every time they call me, I'll come."

Pique also raised five fingers in reference to FC Barcelona's 5-0 win over Real Madrid five years ago. He also spat in the direction of Spanish official Pedro Cortes that same year.

Last month, Pique discussed his goals for the upcoming La Liga season. interviewed him (translated from Spanish):

"When I said I wanted my best, I meant I wanted to be important for the team and win titles again. And I think that both goals have been achieved. Last season was (well-rounded), but now needs to continue and keep winning.

"In the first months of this season we can win the sextet and is our first short-term goal. Following are the League, Cup and Champions League again. It will be a very long season, which will spend very good but also bad. The level of the team, with players of such quality, can aspire to great things again."

He also expressed his desire to be FC Barcelona captain one day, per the club's official website:

"Although I have not been captain, I have an important role on the team. And although in the future becomes captain or not, I will continue to have an important role in the team. I would like, in future be captain, but it's not something I lose sleep. Not right now I approach it. If given the chance, we'll see."
