No iPad Air 3 Launching This Year

Another report claims, iPad Air 3 is not coming this year

Apple is all set o announce new iPads this year. However, a report claims, that the iPad Air 3 may not be one of them.

This isn’t the first time Apple has been rumored to focus on new iPads rather than the Air 3.

As indicated by Digitimes, Apple is setting up another rendition of the iPad mini that would get a redesign contrasted with a previous model.

Apple, to a great extent disregarded the small tablet in 2014. Apple released an iPad mini 3 instead.

The only new components were the Touch ID backing and a different color options. Previous reports have recommended that the iPad mini 4 will bring another design like the iPad Air 2.

But Digitimes doesn't offer any points on the features and specs of the new iPad mini.

Rather, the site said that Apple is conservative when it comes to its tablets output given the general low interest for tablets.

The site also noted that Apple’s suppliers are also working on the parts of the upcoming iPad mini 4.

The past reports suggested that Apple desires to launch an updated iPad mini and a new 12-inch iPad Pro in 2015.

This can be the reason Apple is considering discarding an iPad Air 3 redesign for the present. If we consider these reports right.

This would be the first year when Apple wouldn't launch another 9.7-inch iPad. It's not clear right now whether a 12-inch iPad Pro will for sure be released this year.

Apple is said to unveil its iPad plans for 2015 during the special iPhone event. The event is supposedly scheduled to take place on 9th September.
