In the latest Last Week Tonight with John Oliver show the comedian takes on Televangelists.

John Oliver delivers yet another sharp and funny investigative report on the Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO. The target of the last show are Televangelists.

U.S. tax law allows television preachers to get away with almost anything says John Oliver. To proof it John Oliver founded its own church. The John Oliver church is called "Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption."

Oliver raises attention to the practice of televangelists getting viewers to donate for questionable reasons. Additionally churches and religious groups enjoy special tax exemption.

John Oliver hosted his first Televangelist preach with the help of former SNL star Rachel Dratch. It is comedy, but that the Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption is a real thing, showing that anything is possible under current law.

The John Oliver team has also setup a website for the new church under www.ourladyofperpetualexemption.com.
