The first official trailer of horror flick “Victor Frankenstein” has been released. The movie is described as “dynamic and a thrilling twist on a legendary tale and promises a lot of horrifying sequences and special effects.

The movie stars James McAvoy as Victor Frankenstein, a scientist who makes his own creature in the laboratory applying scientific methods. He is assisted by a young medical student Igor Straussman in his experiments. The character is played by “Harry Potter” famed actor Daniel Radcliffe.

The story follows Frankenstein and Straussman as they research immortality and gives life to a monster. The experiment goes beyound the expectation. Now, they have to face the consequences of it. “It’s about their journey and how they spur each other on towards greater and possibly more terrifying things.” Radcliffe said.

“Victor Frankenstein” is not entirely a horror movie like it is always thought of. It seems to have good humor as well.

“I think our Frankenstein is a really kind of rip-roaring, fun-adventure movie version of Frankenstein. I think there are horror elements to it and nods to previous versions of Frankenstein. The thing that I hope will make it stand out is the relationship between James’ character and I. Victor and Igor are two people who came to need each other very much. It’s a film about relationships set against the backdrop of creating monsters.” Radcliffe said in an interveiw.

The legendry horror tale of Frankenstein has been adapted to movie many times before. The character was first appeared in Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel “Frankenstein: or, the Modern Prometheus.”

The new 20th Fox Century movie is told from the perspective of Igor Straussman and also features Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott and Charles Dance.

The movie will release on November 25, 2015.
