The DWTS star is getting married to an NHL star.

Some great news for the entire Hough family - Julianne Hough has announced, via Instagram, that she and hockey player Brooks Laich are engaged! She also hinted that she will be giving her fans an inside look at everything that has to do with her wedding planning:

"What a week it's been!" she captioned a dreamy shot of herself and Laich sharing a romantic kiss. "I'm just so happy and feeling so loved from all of you, and wanted to give you a quick update on everything. I can't wait to share our wedding planning adventures with you over the next few months -- you guys always give the best advice!"

The post included a link to her blog, where she gushed even more about the reaction to her proposal news.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love and well wishes surrounding my engagement!" the Rock of Ages and Safe Haven actress, 27, wrote in an open letter. "This is certainly one of the most exciting times in my life, and I am so happy to share it with you all!"

However, she also hints that she may be MIA in the next few weeks: "I'm going to take a slight social media time out to enjoy this special time with my fiancé (!)..." she wrote. "When I return to writing in a few days, I promise some exclusive details and pics just for you, so stay tuned!"

The dancer, actress, judge, and singer and her Washington Capitals fiance, 32, have been dating since December 2013,

This will be their first marriage, but Julianne did previously date Ryan Seacrest.
