Boy band One Direction put on space suits for the Drag Me Down music video. Watch the video below.

One Direction still thriving after Zayn Malik left earlier this year. The group just released a music video for their latest hit Drag Me Down. The video has been filmed at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston.

The video shows the band members train for being an astronaut and also put the space suits on. The also play around with NASA's humanoid robot. At the end of the video the group boards a rocket and blast off into space.

Suddenly One Direction got geek credibility.

The video has already over 500,000 views and the hashtag #DragMeDownMusicVideo is #1 in the United States on Twitter.

NASA has thanked One Direction for choosing their facility to film the Drag Me Down video. The space agency used the opportunity to feature their Mars mission.

Drag Me Down was released on July 31 and set the the record for highest first-day streams for a single world-wide.

British and Irish band One Direction consists of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. Zayn Malik left the band on 25 March 2015.
