Samsung Reportedly Working On A Huge Tablet

Samsung Prepping 18.4-Inch Tablet

If we consider Android tablets, 7, 8, and 10-inch are still presumably the most widely recognized sizes.

However, there are some special cases, including 5 and 6-inch mini tabs. Similarly giants like the Fuhu 20 and 24-inch series are also the part of exception.

For Samsung, these aren’t quite big. The product line-up of the company tends to range somewhere around 7 and 12-inches. Well, these are quite big enough!

Yet, Samsung is preparing another enormous Android tablet. This news was revealed in a report by SamMobile. The tablet has the model number of SM-T670.

It is codenamed "Tahoe". Tahoe is an expansive tablet with an 18.4-inch TFT LCD display. It carries a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The tablet is allegedly being intended for use in schools, workplaces etc.

On the off chance that the report is right, the Tahoe will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It will be powered by an octa-core 64-bit 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 processor with 32GB internal storage and 2 GB RAM.

It will also include microSD for extension. Different specs incorporate a 2.1MP front camera, 8MP back cam, and a 5700 mAh battery.

Dimensions are considered to be 451.8 mm wide, 275.8 mm tall and 11.9 mm thick. This isn't the first occasion when we are hearing about the SM-T670.

In August leaked import records recommended that Samsung was working on 18.4-inch tablet. Thus this most recent report affirms that Samsung is definitely working on something “big”.

However, at present, we do not know anything about the pricing and the launch details. We can just wait and wait till Samsung announces anything.

Apart from Samsung, Panasonic is also in the jumbo tablet business. Its Toughpad is a 4K Performance rugged Windows tablet with a stunning 20-inch 4K display.
