The Nazi Treasure train has been found according to a Polish official.

A week ago a report from Poland made news around the world. Two man claimed to have spotted a lost Nazi Gold train. Today a Polish official said that they have located a train. It is not clear if its a Nazi train and what it contains.

The discovery has been made near the Polish city of Walbrzych. A vice minister in Poland's culture ministry has called on all treasure hunter should stop looking for the train as it could be dangerous. If it is indeed a Nazi train it could carry dangerous explosives.

It also has been noted by coverage of The Telegraph that the "treasure" could be items including gold teeth taken from Nazi concentration camp victims.

It is not clear what the next steps are. The Polish military is setting up a perimeter around the site where the train is supposed to be. There would be a digging operation necessary to unearth the train. Somebody would need to finance that.

The Nazis used several trains at the end of World War II to extract loot from the conquered areas before the allied forces moved in.

The Telegraph has a reporter on sight and is hosting a live blog that will continue tomorrow in case there are new developments.
