Huawei Watch Up For Preorders, Starts From $349

Huawei’s first Android Wear watch will be available from 17th September

Huawei has just confirmed that its first Android Wear smartwatch is available to pre-order in the US from today.

The company has also confirmed that the newest version of Android Wear is compatible with iOS devices.

Huawei watch was already announced few months ago but Huawei has made it official with preorders live from today.

The Huawei Watch has a full round watch face and comes with a choice of several different premium materials.

For $349 you can get an entry-level Huawei Watch with a stainless steel body and black leather band.

A modern Huawei Watch with a rose gold-plated stainless steel body and bracelet will cost you $799. There is a ceramic black model with a metal link bracelet for $449.

Huawei Watch is one of the most expensive devices to ship with Google’s Android Wear software so far. But it is cheaper than an Apple Watch.

Huawei’s Smartwatch is also one of the first Android Wear devices to officially support iOS as well. iPhone users will not get all of the functionality such as third-party apps.

The Huawei Watch has a 1.4 inch, 400 x 400 pixel AMOLED display with 286 pixels per inch. There is also a sapphire crystal display.

The watch is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and Bluetooth 4.1 and WiFi.

It includes motion sensors and a heart rate sensor. The company calls it the "world's most advanced" heart rate sensor.

There is also a microphone which allows you to use the watch as a fitness tracker or to speak questions or requests to Google Now.

The watch has a 300 mAh battery. Huawei claims that it should offer up to 2 days of run time. The battery can be charged in about 75 minutes.
