iPad Pro and iPad mini 4 tipped for September 9 Event

Another new report says that Apple will unveil the new big iPad next week.

The iPad Pro is again rumored to be unveiled at the September 9th event. The iPad Pro is supposed to have a 12.9 inch screen and is geared towards business users. 9to5Mac reports that Apple will show off the iPad Pro along with the new iPad mini 4 at the upcoming media event.

The iPad Pro is supposed to ship early November with iOS 9.1. This update has special tweaks for the iPad Pro including support for a Force Touch stylus. Apple and others like Microsoft hope with larger tablets to breath new life into the tablet space.

Apple has just announced a partnership with Cisco to optimize iOS for the enterprise, another sign that Apple wants to become more present inside companies. A year ago that would have been easier. Now that Microsoft is here with Windows 10, Apple has a tougher time in Windows-centric shops.

The new iPad mini is supposedly thinner and has a faster CPU.

9to5Mac keeps the door open to Apple not showing the iPad Pro next week and rather keeping it under wraps for an October event.

The iPhone 6S and the new Apple TV are set candidates for next week. Apple is not going to show a new iPad Air or new Macs at the event.

Apple will host the September 9th event at the Bill Graham auditorium in San Francisco.
