Labor Day 2015 Deals will Match Black Friday Deals says Shopping Expert

The Labor Day 2015 sales are about to begin and for certain products the deals are as good as on Black Friday, says Matt Granite.

Most Labor Day 2015 sales kick off on Friday. There are already sales underway like at car dealerships we reported earlier about. Shopping expert Matt Granite released a report listing Labor Day 2015 deals that match those on Black Friday.

He says that this is the second year that Labor Day deals are as good as on Black Friday. This only applies to select product categories. A major one are appliances. Labor Day 2015 deals take up to 40% off the regular price.

Granite also points to mattresses deals as good as on Black Friday. Clothes are up to 70% off, which is like on Black Friday. Deals on cars that will be replaced by a new model are likely to be better than on the Black Friday car sales later this year.

All summer items like Grills are also bargains this weekend.

Matt Granite's list of items not to buy this Labor Day weekend include new Fall clothing, big screen TVs, laptops and especially Apple products. The reasoning behind not recommending an Apple deal is the upcoming Apple event next week. Apple will introduce new products that will make current devices drop in price.

Matt Granite's Labor Day 2015 video report can be watched on USA Today.

In the video below Matt Granite lists more Labor Day 2015 deals.

Besides Labor Day sales, keep in mind that the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys go on sale at midnight tonight. Many of the toys and collectibles will be hard to find once the Holiday shopping season is here. Getting the new Star Wars Lego sets and other toys on Force Friday will avoid the hassle to hunt them down later.
