The day after the MTV Video Music Awards, you may have seen a video that surfaced online of Taylor Swift allegedly snorting cocaine. Viewers of the video couldn't really tell what was going on because a group of people formed a circle around her so that she was hidden from the backstage cameras. However, the truth has been revealed and it might even be a little more unsettling - she's just blowing her nose and didn't want anyone to see her.

The video, which earned about 6700 views on YouTube before the truth came out, does look pretty suspicious - you can head over to Gawker to see it. The video was taken down everywhere else because Viacom (the company that owns MTV) sent cease and desist letters to YouTube and other websites.

In the video, Taylor comes through a corridor with a group of her friends and her assistants. At one point she (unbeknownst to her) stops directly in front of a camera and one of her aides hands her something. It is at this point that the group forms a wall around her, shielding her from view. The bodyguard looks directly at the camera. The only clue as to what was going on is distinct sniffing noises.

However, when Gawker contacted Swift's team about the video, they simply replied that she knew the video was being livestreamed around the world and she didn't want the image of her blowing her nose to be all over the internet and beyond.

So it turns out that Taylor didn't want anyone to see her blowing her nose, and really who can blame her, that isn't the best look for anyone and it is allergy season, which means things can be even worse. Once you know what she is doing, the video becomes a lot clearer - you see the Kleenex and can see them checking to make sure her make-up wasn't smudged. The best part? Taylor keeps a hold of her own tissue - showing that she really is down to earth; other celebs in attendance might have passed it back to the assistant.
