The action franchise has disappointed a lot as it did not include Jason Statham.

The low-budget movie starring Robert Redford, Emma Thompson and Nick Nolte has been successful at the box-office. The movie overcame the action franchise at the box office. Over the three days of the Labor Day weekend, the two movies were up against each other.

Walk in the Woods has been much more successful even though it played on half the screens. Both these new releases come from new distributors. EuropaCorp made its first release in American theatrical distribution.

While Broad Green Pictures made its first wide theatrical release. A Walk in the woods debuted on Wednesday with $1.169 million. By Thursday the movie had reached the $2 million mark, according to Forbes.

After the three days of the Labor Day weekend the movie has reached the $10.2 million mark. Well most of the attention that the film received this week was due to Emma Thompson’s interview. The actress stated that if she has to see another Spider-Man she is going to hang herself.

Now coming to the Transporter Refueled everyone is quite disappointed. First of all it is a star-driven franchise without the star in the driver’s seat this time. This movie is the fourth entry in the 13 year old Transporter franchise.

Now we all know that the previous parts of the franchise were popular only because of the presence of Jason Statham. For reasons unknown Jason refused to be a part of the fourth part. That is why Ed Skrein was selected in his place. So in simple words the studio made a huge mistake for which it has to pay now.

"This summer's sexiest action thriller." The Transporter Refueled will have you at the "edge of your seat!" Tickets: by The Transporter on Thursday, September 3, 2015
