$50 Amazon Fire Tablet Threat Walmart's bestselling Bargain Tablets

$50 Amazon Tablet aim to demolish Walmart's low-end tablet sales this Holiday shopping season.

One of the top-selling products at Walmart are cheap $50 Android tablets. Walmart offers several 7-inch models priced under $50 from brands like RCA, Nextbook and Ematic.

A new Wall Street Journal report will raise definitely concerns at the Walmart Headquarters. Amazon is planning tor release a $50 tablet with a 6-inch screen for the Holidays according to sources of the newspaper.

The cheapest Amazon Fire tablet has a price tag of $99. The new low-end 6-inch Amazon tablet offering cuts that price by 50%.

As mentioned above the Walmart's $50 tablets have a 7-inch screen, but Amazon has built up a strong name for tablets.

The battle between Walmart and Amazon in the low-end tablet segment is going to be a win for consumers. We expect both retailers to offer incredible deals on these tablets on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Walmart's current top selling bargain tablet is a $49 7-inch RCA tablet bundled with a keyboard and case. The tablet runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) on a quad-core CPU and has 8GB storage.

The display has a 1,024x600 resolution. Other features include 4h battery life, 0.3MP camera, microUSB port, speaker and 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

The Walmart tablets support Vudu and eMusic for video and music content.

Walmart stopped selling Amazon Kindle eReaders and Fire Tablets back in 2012 for obvious reasons.

These devices are promoting Amazon's Prime membership and services. Walmart would just help them grow a loyal customer base by selling Amazon tablets.

It will be interesting how Amazon will position the $50 Fire tablet to compete with the Walmart bundle offers.

Amazon could throw in the $50 Amazon Fire Tablet with other products and services. Promotions could include that consumers get a free Amazon tablet with a new Prime membership.

Come Black Friday 2015 (November 27) the gloves will come off between Amazon and Walmart. This is going to be awesome for consumers to score great deals.
