(Updated) Nokia C1-First Android Phone Images Reportedly Leaked

In spite of the fact that Nokia is denied from making its own phones until 2016, the Finland-based previous market pioneer is not banished from putting its name on other kinds of phones.

Nokia cannot manufacture its phones due to the acquisition deal with Microsoft. The rumor mill has been continually churning that Nokia may have an Android-powered phone running stock Android with its own Z Launcher - the Nokia C1.

It showed up in a couple of renders a few days prior. These seem to be mostly on point with the two brand new images that just popped up in the wild.

The pictures show a sleek device with apparently encouraging screen-to-body size proportion and on-screen navigation buttons that is running Android.

It bears a lot of similarities with the Nokia N1 tablet, but in a smaller form factor. The device is expected to have a 5-inch 1080p display, an Intel Atom chipset with 2 GB RAM, and 8 MP camera, combined with a 5 MP front camera.

It will run on Android Marshmallow. We do not know anything about the price and launch date yet. We can only anticipate till further announcements.

Update: These leaked pics are now confirmed as just concept pictures shared by Kim Wayne.
