A new rumor surfaced on Twitter ahead of the Apple Event.

The Apple Event starts at 10am PDT. Less than 3 hours ahead of the Apple keynote a rumor surfaces on Twitter about a major artist appearing on stage at the Bill Graham Auditorium. He or she is supposed to drop a new album.

There is no word who the artist is. It could be Drake, Rihanna or any other famous artist. U2 is for sure not an option after the disaster last year. Apple has pre downloaded a U2 album onto iPhones to the dismay of many users.

If an artist will unveil a new album today, Apple will not force feed it to iTunes customers.

As far as we can tell the rumor originated from Nylon Magazine.

The highlights of the September 9 event have all leaked. According to the latest rumors, today's Apple event is the only one this fall. Apple will unveil all major new products today. The highlights will be the iPhone 6S, iPad Pro and Apple TV 4. Apple is also supposed to unveil an updated iPad mini 4. That is the least exciting new product to be unveiled today.

The Apple keynote will be streamed live starting at 10am PDT.
