Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard for iPad Pro Unveiled

Apple unveiled the Smart Keyboard for iPad Pro connected by the Smart Connector.

As expected, Apple unveiled the new iPad Pro at the Apple event today. The iPad Pro supports a keyboard cover named smart keyboard. The Smart keyboard connects via the new smart connector to the iPad.

Apple also announced the Apple Pencil, a stylus.

The company again managed to introduce something that Samsung and Microsoft already offer, but make it appear cooler. Even the name is cooler. Instead of stylus Apple names its touch input device Pencil.

The Apple keynote will be streamed live starting at 10am PDT. The Apple Live stream works via Apple's HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology. HLS requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later.

For the first time Apple events can be streamed on a PC. It works with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Streaming via Apple TV requires a second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.
