Stephen Colbert hires staff consisting of former NFL players and legends to help him out with the show.

Where Jimmy Fallon had the NFL players read out their titles, Stephen Colbert is making the former NFL players more involved with his show, kicking off the football season in style.

On his staff are Joe Theismann former professional football player, sports commentator, corporate speaker and restaurateur was behind camera 2. Richard Dent who played primarily for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League and was the MVP of Super Bowl XX.

He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011 was seen helping out with wardrobe. Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher was in charge of makeup and fiery pep talks and Franco Harris in the was in the all-important role of catching any instruments that may get dropped from the balcony.

Last but never the least Colbert had Jim Brown serving as his audience warm-up, and using intimidation rather than jokes to make sure the audience is laughing. 

The cast gave everyone a chance to be closer to the legends and have some fun. What a great way to start the NFL season. Colbert has recently started to host the show and is genuinely doing a great job. His ideas that he was so keen to share and show are working his way.
