The Giulia Quadrifoglio is slated to compete with BMW, Mercedes and Audi.

The BMW M3 has been the benchmark in the premium midsize sedan/coupe for years. Even after being faced with tough competition, the car has been at the top. Now the M3 has got a new and exciting competitor, the Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Verde.

The Giulia Quadrifoglio is the first example of Alfa’s strategy to take on BMW and Audi. The vehicle comes with a balanced weight distribution. It has a 510 horsepower from a 2.9 V6 twin-turbo engine.

The engine was developed in collaboration with Ferrari. The vehicle has the right ingredients and promises a tremendous driving pleasure. The vehicle features carbon fiber as well. The sporty Alfa also has a curb weight of 1500 kilograms.

The sporty Giulia is said to run from standstill to 100 km/h in only 3.9 seconds. The vehicle will be offered with rear-wheel drive and a manual transmission. According to reports, the Giulia QV is faster than its competitors. The vehicle has officially lapped the Ring 14 seconds faster than the BMW M4. This makes the vehicle faster around the Nurburgring than the Lamborghini Murcielago.
