Pictures of retail boxes of the upcoming Nexus phones confirms their names

In accordance with the prior rumors, New leaked pictures of the retail box by Android Police assert that the upcoming Nexus phones will surely be called Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.

We are just a week away from Google's September 29th event. The company is expected to unveil both devices in the same event.

A number of rumors and specifications regarding both devices have already been leaked. However, the name of both the phones were a mystery until now.

The retail box pictures clearly shows both the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. The styling of the boxes are unique in relation to earlier years as the new retail boxes in the leaked images sport a large "X" for Nexus 5X and "P" for Nexus 6P.

While the Nexus 5X retail box has a rectangular design, the Nexus 6P accompanies rounded edges.

The leaked pictures further affirm that both the handsets would come with 32GB internal memory.

Material Design-styled wallpapers can also be seen on the retail boxes of both the new Nexus phones.

We already know that both LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P would be running Google's most recent Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

They will also sport fingerprint sensors and USB Type-C ports, both features that are supported natively in the upcoming Android release.

In view of past speculations and gossipy tidbits, the LG Nexus 5X is said to highlight a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM along with Adreno 418 GPU.

It will feature a 12.3-megapixel sensor; a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 2700mAh battery. With respect to the bigger Huawei Nexus 6P, it is expected to support a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 SoC.

A 5.7-inch QHD display and front facing speakers are also included, aside from a 12-megapixel back camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
