BlackBerry Priv Android Slider Leaks

Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

The launch of the first BlackBerry Android phone draws closer as leaks intensify.

The BlackBerry Priv is the official name of the first Android phone from BlackBerry. Kudos to BlackBerry to try to win back customers with a novel design. The BlackBerry Priv has a slide out keyboard. Something we have not seen in years. The iPhone just killed hardware keyboards.

It is hard to say how big the market is for fans of the hardware BlackBerry keyboard. Another applaud worthy move is the adoption of Android. This gives BlackBerry owners the access to the Google Play store.

@evLeaks not only was first to revel the BlackBerry Priv name, but also posted a PR image of the BlackBerry Priv.

The Priv stands for Privacy. BlackBerry has hardened Android to make it more secure.

The BlackBerry Priv is rumored to sport a 18MP camera, dual LED flash, 3GB RAM, 1.8Ghz 6-core Snapdragon CPU, QHD display, 3000mhA battery and microSD slot.

BlackBerry is going to unveil the new line-up of BlackBerry phones including the BlackBerry Priv soon. We expect the announcement in October.
