Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli gets married today. The wedding already caused a scandal.

Israel's famous model Bar Refaeli is getting married today to business man Adi Ezra. Bar Refaeli was Leonardo's DiCaprio's girlfriend for several years. Many American know her from the GoDaddy Super Bowl 2013 commercial in which she kisses an awkward nerd.

Bar Refaeli is getting married in the Carmel Forest Spa Resort Hotel, located near Haifa in the north of Israel. She actually planned to have drones, helicopters and hot air balloons to control the skies above the hotel to make wedding photos and provide security.

She also requested from the authorities to close the airspace for others to keep paparazzi and the media out. This request had been initially granted, but caused a scandal.

After an outrage over the special treatment for a celebrity like Refaeli, the Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz instructed authorities to keep the air space open.

The directive has been lifted, but is still limited. Pilots who want to fly in the area of Carmel Forest need to coordinate with the company hired to do the aerial photography for the wedding.

The Minister has though insisted to remove all limitations. He threatened to fire the head of the Civil Aviation Authority if he did not comply according to the Jerusalem Post.

Bar Refaeli will not be bothered by this aviation scandal. Yesterday she posted two sexy photos on Instagram wearing a bikini and a wedding veil. She wrote: "This time tomorrow... I'll be dancing in white."
