Sony Xperia Z5 Has The World’s Best Camera

Sony Xperia Z5 camera is the world's best camera according to DxOMark.

Sony has been setting the mark for other companies for some time now when it comes to camera optics.

In late August, sensor testing company DxOMark reported that the Sony a7R II contains the best sensor they have ever looked into.

Now, once again DxOMark published its review report of the Sony Xperia Z5 camera sensor, and the opinion is the same: the Xperia Z5 contains the best cell phone camera sensor the reviewers have ever seen.

The Xperia Z5 got a general score of 87 points. By correlation, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge got 86, and the new Google Nexus 6P got 84.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus got just 82. The new 6S and 6S Plus haven't been tried by DxOMark yet, however early word over the Web is that “the iPhone is no longer king of mobile photos.”

DxOMark reports that the Xperia Z5 posted top ratings in both photograph and video sub-categories.

The 23MP camera, which creates 8MP stills as defaults, has the best auto-focus in all conditions, great white balance and color rendering much of the time, great flash exposures, and good details and “thin noise” in low light.

The main issue was that the camera delivers a few artifacts in blue sky, which is here and there burnt on high dynamic scenes.

Also, "slight constriction" is found toward the edges of photographs while doing flash photography. On the video side of things, DxOMark says that the picture adjustment in the camera is "far ahead of the competition."

There's additionally great auto-focus, noise level, detail preservation, color rendering, and white balance.

Sony has been saying for a long time that the Xperia Z5 is its best camera phone that features a “revolutionary camera.” Now it is proved that they were not lying!
